Victor Gray (PI)
I obtained my PhD from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden with Kasper Moth Poulsen and Maria Abrahamsson (2017). I later spent 3 years at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge (UK), as a postdoctoral researcher with Akshay Rao. In 2022 I joined Uppsala University as an independent researcher studying photophysical processes in solar energy harvesting materials. I love seeing the colorful and emissive materials that we work with.

Corentin Pigot (Post Doc)
Hello, my name is Corentin Pigot and I am an organic chemist particularly interested in light-driven reactions. The diversity of the applications in this field is highly motivating for me. Indeed, for a synthetic chemist is goes from the synthesis of single molecules, such as dyes, or to complex polymers used in materials for solar energy applications.
In 2022, I started a Postdoc with Dr Victor Gray. in the division of Physical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry – Ånsgström Laboratory. In this project, I will design innovating molecules and study their behavior towards light-excitation.

Sree Chithra (PhD Student)
I have done my BS-MS in Chemistry from IISER Bhopal with my master’s thesis focusing on the applications of spectroscopy. I get crazy every time I see fluorescence from molecules. I think singlet fission is really cool and I am curious to see it’s applications in less explored fields like photocatalysis. When I’m not doing science, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, traveling and trying new foods.
